It’s a Cosmic Shame

Bluegrass meets Tenacious D. Silly….yes. But, for bluegrass lovers who love Tenacious D (there must be a few of you) this album is actually somewhat enjoyable. Fans of Yonder Mountain, Hot Buttered Rum, David Grisman and the like will find the musicianship surprisingly good.

I admit I have a strange infatuation with the offbeat comedic tandem of K.G. and J.B. The satire is palpable and I enjoy every minute of it.

I came across this album the other day and have had it on constant rotation ever since. I find that it is just so easy a listen, to the point of being hypnotic at moments.
