Track of the Day - 1/30/09
The countdown has officially begun. It is slightly over five months before the hiatus is officially over and I for one will not be participating. Yes, I did try to get tickets in the lottery and yes, I thought as a local Vermonter only miles away from "The Barn" that I would be shown some form of bias in the selection process. We have had 170 inches at "the house" (aptly named) and by most sane individuals, that is a sadistic amount of snow to deal with (I forgot to mention we average over 300" a year). Yet, at Bolton Valley (where I reside) most of the residents are not satisfied with the snowfall this year. Anyway, to make a long story short, we are getting "our" snow tonight. Greensky Bluegrass is now on the radar.I know I am bit behind the times here as there first album came out in 2004, but hey, better late than never. The new album Five Interstates (listen) is a wonderful listen. Progressive bluegrass at its best. It is the bands fourth album and the first with new member Anders Beck (dobro).
